Academy yesterday had 9mm Blazer for about $30/100 and you were limited to 2 boxes. I have plenty of 9mm until the price comes back down. But they had a pretty good supply of 9mm. Most I have seen them get in for quite some time now.

They had 500 round boxes of Remington Thunderbolt for $29.50 a box. About $4.50 higher than pre-China virus. Limit of 2 boxes on those too so I bought two boxes. Just shooting 22 mostly for now at the range so I buy it when I can find it in that price range. Son-in-law just bought some CCI stingers for $7 or a little more for 50 rounds. He bought them for me so I paid him for them, but told him don't buy me any more .22lr for that high a price.

It seems like Blazer ---

I stopped at one of my local Sportsmans Warehouse stores today. No ammo on the shelves so as I walked out I saw a cart with ammo on it inside the customer service area. I got in line and a nice lady said they had to dole it out like Nurse Ratched at medication time because people were hiding ammo all over the store to beat the two box limit. She said she was checking out an older couple who were buying a backpack for a grandkid and when she checked it there were two boxes of 9mm inside. She didn't think they were trying to steal it, but rather that it had been hidden by some jerk planning to buy it later.

How sad this has become. If people would just not buy flipped ammo this would be over soon.

I did buy two boxes of .22 Magnum at the pre-panic price, which I will shoot not flip.

I must admit that I still have ammo left over from the Obama Administration......Our AG at the time would not let you buy ammo on line and have it shipped to wonderful Massachusetts....So I bought a ton on line and had it shipped to my son's home in Florida. I drove it back home....but over the past 6 years it's going down....I still have 9,000 rounds of .22's.. and about 3,000 of assorted center fire hand gun ammo. Range trips are just a little shorter now.....

My nephew just signed up for a trap shooting league at our local sportsman's club. Needs about 100 rounds a week. Not the easiest thing to find these days but tracked down 100 round boxes of Federal 20 ga 7.5 shot target loads for about $23 a box. Not bad in this environment I guess.

Picked up a 20 round box of Winchester Silvertip .38 special hollow point at the LGS today. Paid $16.99, but I didn't have any hp so I figured I'd bite the proverbial bullet considering that ammo is so hard to come by right now.

A man can afford to buy a little SD, HD ammo how much of it do you need. I applaud and approve of your purchase.
Thankfully I have a couple of cases of 135gr GDHPSB in the hall closet.........
