Nice. I recently purchased one also. First time out one of the grip medallions popped off and is lost forever. I had to buy a replacement and it wasn't cheap.

Nice catch.
Remember trying to buy one for my first EDC.
Never did find one.
Always heard good things about those.
Settled on a Colt Mustang.

My brother bought one when they first hit the US market. Loves it. By today's standards they're zoo big and bulky! By any reasonable, they are great!

At the first of the month, people paid their rent, He carried the BDA 380, I carried a 1911! (We never needed to use them!)

ETA: We once had a psycho tenant out to kill us. I carried the 1911, he left the BDA 380 at home and carried hi High Power! These are guns for, "When you care enough to only give the very best!"

I have the Beretta version that was an Israeli police pistol. Yours looks almost new but I got lucky with one that had been shot very little and only has minor edge wear. I carry mine from time to time and really like the way it fits my hand and the high capacity. The weight isn’t bad and helps tame recoil for us arthritic old guys. Accuracy is pretty darn good too.

Good pickup.

I loved that pistol the first time I laid eyes on it back in the 80's! Nice purchase!

I always liked the FN version better than the Beretta. I just like the looks of the enclosed slide better. I had an itch for one a couple years ago so I started looking around. Almost every one was missing at least one medallion. Never did find one that balanced wear vs. price.

I’m not a .380 guy but I really wish I’d hung onto the BDA I sold a few years ago, they’re nice guns.
Same here. I sold mine a couple of decades ago. Nice guns, but I didn't trust the .380 ammo of the day to save my bacon if the worst happened. Nowadays the .380 ammo selection is much better.

Love the blued, for over 20 years I have owned a stainless one, fits my hand perfectly, shoots well

I prefer the looks of the BDA, but to be honest it’s hard to beat the reliability of the open slide Beretta version.

Browning bowed to style and not appearing to be selling a Beretta but it is a retrograde step in terms of reliability.

Wasn't the Browning BDA .380 actually made by Beretta for Browning? Says made in Italy. FN is in Belgium.

Yes it was. The enclosed slide and slide mounted decocker were style changes to make it look different and also an effort to make it appear to be something other than a Beretta 84F.

About ten years ago, bought a NIB Browning version, and lost a medallion too, but Browning sent me a new one free. I had a gunsmith drill a small hole in the front sight and put a dab of white paint in that for a better front sight acquisition against dark paper targets. I have since given it to my daughter in law, and I seem to remember some precaution about the trigger and decocker or safety or the like. A bit big in the hand for a modern carry pistol, but mine handled my 380- reloads just fine. Precision Browning pistol. SF VET
