In a recent thread about Cordless Power Tools I stated that I got rid of ALL my Cordless Drills etc. and bought 4 new Milwaukee Corded Power Tools of different types.
Well yesterday I had to drill a series of holes in concrete and used my new Milwaukee Electric Rotary Hammer Drill. It uses the SDS+ Bits and I must say it went through concrete like it was wood.
A Rotary Hammer Drill is one of those tools (unless you are a Pro or Contractor) that rarely gets used but boy when you need one they are worth every penny!
I also bought the following Milwaukee Electric tools after getting rid of the Cordless Stuff:
* Left Side Blade Circular Saw
* Angle Electric Drill
* Orbital Jig Saw
When I purchased these it was from a Power Tool Store that was closing up shop he had new in the box tools that were made BEFORE the current crop made in China.
so I was very happy about that! The only tool not made in USA was the Orbital Jig Saw and if memory serves I think that was made in the Chek Republic
(like CZ guns are). Of course all my older Milwaukee Drills, Sawzall, etc. were made here. My old Porter Cable stuff is also all US stuff. Don't know of many tools left made here anymore.
