Rekindling the passion. Weather has been crap here, so I've been pullin' 'em out for a fondle. Here's a samplin' of some I still own. Pics are of various ages. Man I love .22s!

A few Germans. Mausers from the 30's and 40's. Wather from the 60s

Nice collection ya got there. I only have one vintage .22 but its my favorite gun I own. Passed down from my Grandpa to my Dad then on to me. Won't ever part with this one. Its a Remington model 34. Made sometime in the 30s. Sorry for the lousy pic I am not much of a photographer.

I started collecting WW1 turnbolts which gave way to vintage .22LR rifles. Both sill fill the vault. I have only one contemporaty rifle, and it's built on a Steyr M1903 action from 1909. Other than a carry piece, handguns came later and will alway be smallest in number.

I have a Winchester M/61 and two M/63's which make the trip to the range nearly every time, usually shoot a brick of .22's before the day is done. I have owned several M/52 Sporters too but they've become very pricey and I sold them off, wish I'd kept the last one it had a G&H mount with a Lyman Alaskan scope.

That Win. 52 Sporter is one gun I'd like to own, but the best one
I've seen lately was $3800 and that's just a little on the steep
side right now for me. Maybe one day.

I have several vintage .22's, here is one of my favorites, a first year (serial number under 500) Remington 40x with a period correct vintage stock and scope.

I have a couple dozen vintage .22s. Here is a nice one, 1936 Winchester Model 52. This one's serial number appears in Houze's book on the 52.

Nice rifles, and nice pix, guys.

I have a DOB 1916 Remington 12-C of which I am quite fond. I'd like to find an original tang sight for it. Whatta ya think? Nigh impossible? Probably, huh?

I've got one just like this. My Great-great uncle bought it new for $3.50.

I shot enough jack rabbits with it at 50 cents apiece to buy a new Remington Model 66 with which I shot enough rabbits to keep me in beer in college.

I still have the Stevens and its still the most accurate .22 I own.

Love those old .22s! Unfortunately, I had to sell mine a few years back. But I'm working on replacing them! Right now I only have this 9422 M and a Marlin bolt action, neither of which are "vintage".

Nice 52,
I have one from 1925 and it is quite accurate even with a cloudy/cracked old scope.
I also have the .22 affliction, A weakness really,'
Just picked up a Ruger 10/22, NIB stainless for 175 because it was there.
Here's a few to look at.

Thanks for the M75 pics. My dad and his brother bought 2 with consecutive serial numbers new. I have my dad's, really wish I had been around to get the other, but was in Nam.
