Had a call from Devyn tonight. So proud to tell me she had become a NRA member. She will graduate from high school June 5th.And wants me there. Of course I said Yes. I'm so proud of her. Graduating with honors in Basketball & track. Also a trap shooter. That makes 3 grandchildren that are members of NRA. HOOO RAAA, It's great being a Ganpa.

Score another one for the good guys! Though I must admit that I'm still a little traumatized by memory of the summer of '74. Some friends and I shot in a league at the old WhiteWing range in Deer Park. As it worked out, we shot just before or just after a squad of 17-18 yo Girl Scouts (at that age, I think they're called something else; don't remember what). We had pretty good shotguns; they were out there with Grand Daddy's 870 or their boy friend's Mossberg. They made us look so LAME. I think it's funny now...
That's been a long time. When your grandaughter is as old as those ladys must be now, I hope she is still shooting and loving it.

You did real good instilling values into your brood. the world would be a LOT better if more parents could make that statement.

You must have done a good job raising your children....and they have continued in the same way.
You are a lucky man to have raised children and grandkids that have good morals and important values. So many parents in this day and time don't have a clue what is important.
