Grandsons First Ever Range Trip

He came down from Cincinnati to visit for a while and I found out he'd never shot a gun. I had to remedy that!

I wanted to stay on the pistol range, and showed him his options. He picked my CMMG AR with a dedicated 22 upper, and my little HK SP5K. Spent the night before going over gun safety, I have a 9mm laser bullet and let him practice with that to get familiar with the HK. Headed to the range Wednesday. Odd he never considered a handgun.

First pic is his first mag out of the AR. He did start holding it straight after I corrected him. I took 4 30 round mags for each rifle. I think he did great for a first timer, plus the wind was blowing the targets like a pendulum.
