I have been a .44 Mag/ SPL shooter for 40 years. Recently gave in and discovered beauty of the Model 57 in .41 mag. No reason to blast full house magnums when not in grizzly territory so I buy hard to find .41 special . As the price of both .44 and .41 went over $1.00 per round , I started reloading 2 years ago. I bought all RCBS equipment. Recently had a hard time getting a good crimp on .41 SPL. I called RCBS (where I have always gotten great service) Got an older guy with lots of experience on phone. Explained my problem , with out blinking he said easy fix. They never made a .41 spl seating die and that is what I needed. He said RCBS does not do custom work any more but he would call the shop and see what he could do. Four days later I received a .41 Spl seating die. It was cut down .41 mag.
Just loaded 50 rounds and they all slip right in to the cylinder.

That is customer service like we got back in the 70s and 80s.
You will have a hard time prying me away from RCBS.

I don't know where RCBS is located anymore, but at one time in Oroville, Ca. I could either call or go to their facility, a quanset hut behind a sporting goods store, Hunting's, and present my problem. Either mail to me or hand me the needed part. This was before the outfit was sole, many years ago and am glad they still have great customer service.

The store in front was Huntington’s and it was a good store.

Still have my RCBS Rock Chucker and the 30-06 dies I bought back in the late ‘70s. The majority of my loading gear is Green with some Blue mixed in..…….RCBS is great - I just bought one of their ChargeMaster Links units. It was on sale on the RCBS web site for 30% off. Now to play with it and do some loading……

Saw them at the nra show one year and had a 9mm shell holder that I had worn out. Rep said it couldn’t happen, and I showed him that it was worn beyond use. He went and showed it to the bmic and he asked how many shells had been loaded on it. I told him probably on 75 k from what my records said. Gave me his card and told me to call him next week.

I did and he sent me a shipping label to return the holder and my 40 year old RC press also. A week after I sent it out it came back with the Rockchucker rebuilt and the new shell holder. Still use that press for resizing and precision/hunting cartridges, most everything else is done on Dillon blue.

One ofthe best companies to deal with should you have an issue.

Go BBN,
Rick Gibbs

I've had a few minor issues with my nearly 40 year-old RCBS equipment which has served me very well. A simple telephone call has gotten the situation quickly resolved to exceed my satisfaction...no questions asked. I'll always be a loyal customer and highly recommend them! :)

I started with a couple sets of dies and the powder measure (back when they included two powder drums, large and small). That was in the 80's. then came the 1010 scale, and the trimmer. I never liked the early trimmer that used the collet that held the case head. Had difficulty getting precise trims. Replaced it when they brought out the newer model that used the plate case head holders. Wife bought me the "Prep Center" when they came out. Never had any problems they just "worked".

I visited the RCBS store in Oroville many years ago. Their showroom was very interesting, featuring a bunch of taxidermed animals from Fred Huntington's various hunting trips. Quite impressive. I bought an olive drab shirt there that lasted for years.

RCBS

MOST of my reloading and casting equipment is RCBS because of their customer service. I’ve NEVER been let down. Oh yeah, been reloading for more than 50 years.

Have used RCBS for many years, only had to ever contact the twice, both were very good experiences, and my issues were fixed asap ! Top notch outfit !

Been reloading for 50+ years and My stuff is green and blue, no red. Only problem I had with RCBS was a leaking 20 lb furnace. Ordered a new plunger rod and installed it. Still dripped. Emptied the pot and saw the discharge hole was erroded. The pot was not a replacement part. Sent RCBS an email explaining the problem and included a copy of My business card which touted Me being a Master Technician of commercial appliance repair. Got no answer. The next week a new pot arrived no charge. Thats good CS.

I have used RCBS for over 50 years.

I had problems off and on, some by my own doing. I offered to pay for the parts which I screwed up but RCBS declined and provided them at no cost to me.

I have always received great service and was treated with courtesy!

I highly recommend RCBS.

I started loading 1978 or 79 and am up to 117 Cartridges abd 4 gauges of shotgun. If I bought the die new they are RCBS for common and Redding Competition for specialty! About a third were bought used and the RCBS still get good service.

I needed a second 45ACP carbide sizer, had problems from the second round. Worst CS in the gun world today!

CH-4D in Mt. Vernon, Ohio has great CS also! (Kind of expensive but make things no one else does!)

Still using my rockchucker supreme and RCBS dies for all pistol calibers. I bent my de-priming rod on one and emailed them asking how to order a replacement. A new one showed up in the mail 4 days later. No questions about how I ruined it. They back their equipment and their customer service is second to none.

Since we are talking nice about RCBS I will tell you my story.
I wrote them telling them I have the base for my 5-0-5 scale but the beam and pan support and pan are gone. I made it clear they were thrown away when my granddaughter "helped grandpa clean up." I wanted to buy the parts but she told me they would need the base to be sure the parts are correct. I sent the base to them and when I got it back a week later all the parts were replaced and the blade seat on the base was replaced because they said it was out of spec. The bill said $0.00, that's right FREE. They even paid for the postage and put it in the correct box. The note said thank you for being a customer and there was no charge.

That is totally above and beyond. Great company who deserves my loyalty without a doubt.

RCBS has great CS. Over the years they’ve replaced several parts that wore out due to honest use; the last was my RC’s spent primer tray. No questions, no fees.

I have an RCBS Junior press that I bought in 1978. This press gave years of reliable service and turned out 1000s of rounds of ammunition. When I move all my equipment went into storage for a long time. When I finally went to set up again I noticed that the press handle a spent primer catcher we’re missing. I called RCBS and within a few days I had the replacement parts free of charge.

For most of my reloading equipment needs I go to RCBS
