We always have our family xmas at our house a week early so we can get all the daughters and husbands and grandkids for a shindig without messing up their family xmas. It, as always was great fun. At the end before everyone was leaving my daughters were acting kind of hinkey, so I knew something was up. Imagine my surprise when my oldest daughter handed me a cardboard box and said "Open it up Poppa" with a big grin on her face. Inside was a Colt Python 4" Nickel revolver. It's one of my bucket list guns and I was speechless. It's got a few honest wear marks, but overall pretty darn nice. 5 digit serial 55XXX.
I have to say I'm a S&W man all the way, but WOW. Very happy. I'll post photos soon, but I had to tell somebody, and you all are the somebodies I wanted to tell. Anyhow, everyone have a great holiday and God bless.
