Gun show report
I arrived around 9:30 and lots of folks already there and left around 1:30 as my back was starting to bother me. That was probably due to the bag I was carrying around with guns for sale plus toting around a shot gun to sell.
Lots of nice Smith’s for sale…I’d say if you were looking for a particular model it was most likely sitting on someone’s table.
I did see a couple 27 8 3/8” the dash 2’s were priced at $1500 and a pre priced at $2250. I’m sure there was some wiggle room but lately I’ve seen them sell for less on some of the internet sites.
Wasn’t looking for any ammo but one place I heard that had lots of guns and ammo (estate sale) was selling shotgun boxes for $10 & hand or rifle ammo for $15 a box.
Ran into some old faces that I had dealt with in the past including Gene who used to share tables with Charlie Sides…sure do miss my friend Charlie
I ended up buying 1 gun. My first 36-1 3”. Very clean gun. I also picked up a couple sets of stock’s.
Sold 2 guns but they were non S&W’s. Was toting around 3 Smith’s priced very reasonable I thought but no bites…maybe post here on the Forum
Jim, yes very well run show as well as the Columbia Shows. I remember your extensive displays you used to set up. Hopefully see you at the Mega Show at the fairgrounds next spring.
Yes have bought a few revolvers & rifles from Dewey’s…he’s pretty proud of his inventory.
At the end of the day I believe I broke even including the stop at the liquor store prior to show.
