HELL (aka Connecticut)
Long time shooter and former collector. Getting back into a little bit as the wife and I are looking to free-er pastures. CT sucks for regulations, and taxes. I love wheelguns, especially N frames. I appreciate a number of different firearms, and have owned many over the years. Right now its 3. A 629, a CZ75, and I just picked up an M&P Shield in 9mm.

Cheers!

Welcome from Wisconsin! We're open for business with a no-nonsense concealed carry law including Castle Doctrine & stand your ground. If you're a military vet then you won't even have to take a class. Just send your DD 214 along with your application. Taxes are not so good but getting much better with Republican Scott Walker as gov.

Greetings from NC.

CT is a beautiful state. Taxes and regulations can be fixed. Hopefully someday we have uniform gun laws and the only thing dictating where you live is the weather. :D

Well, if you are willing to give up snowy roads and are OK with not needed a permit to carry concealed, you should look hard at Arizona.

It's a long way from the overcrowded Northeast, which might be a problem if you have family nearby.

We fled Zoo Jersey to relocate here more than a decade ago.

Not long after an extended visit with us, my younger brother and his wife decided they wanted to live in Arizona too. He is not a shooter but enjoys the weather and people here.

Me, I am a shooter and enjoy the company of like minded old guys with whom I shoot. 1911's, revolvers, and older rifles are all popular here, along with the modern plastic pistols.

Welcome to Smith-wessonforum dot com, the best revolver forum I know of, sir!

To expand your horizons, join ArizonaShooting dot com and post in the regular sections until you have enough posts to see the very active classified sections. I think you will be impressed.

We're actually looking into different areas of Carolina right now. My Mom is now in Mertyl Beach and my father has been in Florida for over 10 years. I can tolerate the snow here but I am tired of. When the sheeple here re-elected Malloy wife and I agreed you simply can't fix stupid. She has family here and in PA, and would prefer to stay on the East coast, so we're examining options in the Carolinas and Tennessee right now.

Considered WI a few times over the years. Love the people and I have always been a Packers fan (privilege of being out to Lambeau twice in my life) Sadly, but understandably, my wife doesn't want to be that far from her family.

Welcome from PA. I was born and raised in CT - Monroe, Southbury, Waterbury. Moved around the country some for the job, ended up in PA. You couldn't pay me to go back to CT.

If your mobile, take a good look at PA. Good gun laws, state forest, ranges and gun clubs, and a nice place to live. No state income tax if retired is nice too.

Right now I'm in Waterbury and working in Middlebury. 84 is still the worst highway in the US

Welcome aboard from the great state of Pennsylvania!

Welcome from a former NYer where the gun regulations are plain old stupid. Greetings now from Virginia where a new Governor is trying to stick it to us with more infringements on 2nd amendment rights.
