The first hand gun I ever had the pleasure using was my dads (trying to pull the mod. # from memory) S&W 4in 586 no dash .357. Since turning 21 a few years back and getting a hcp, I've been a 1911 enthusiast. I have since been pretty hard set in my ways- I've owned and shot plenty other guns, but I love the way a .45 acp flows nicely out of an all steel 1911. That's all I really have liked enough to buy and keep- but apparently this is no longer true. I recently have purchased a 6in half lug 629-5 .44 mag (in fantastic working order)... and I absolutely love it. I am here to simply ask for the thoughts of folks who are more experienced than I with these "N" frames. I do know a bit, but am here to make sure l can ask the right questions to the right people if need be, and perhaps answer a few questions if the opportunity presents itself.

Thanks for having me!

Welcome aboard from the great state of Pennsylvania!

From one Tennessean to another, welcome. You can learn alot from this forum and you will unfortunately learn that N frames are addictive!

The 629 that you acquired is a great revolver!
