Hi, everyone!

I'm Steve and I'm 65 years young and a Vietnam vet.

Started shooting in 1958 at 12 and got away from it in the 90s when my eyes went south.

Learned the hard way that even if ya can't see real well, you'll still miss havin your shootin' irons.

So, I have a newly aquired 17-2 which I want to ask some questions about. I don't know when it was made (61 to 80) or later so I don't know what forum to ask it in.

Welcome to the forum from Arkansas from another Vietnam vet. The serial number is on the butt of the revolver and if you give it to us with two XX's in the last digits postion we can tell you when it was made. Serial should look like this K1234XX. The 17-2 was made from 1961 to 1967 and with the serial number we should be able to give you the year it was made.
