I am a Medically Retired LEO. Though I primarily used polymer framed semi autos, originating in a country near Germany, I much prefer S&W revolvers. I have an M&P .38 from 1948 in the box. A 27-2 and 27-3, both 5 inch. My main carry is a 2.5 inch model 66-3. I am trying to find a Tyler T Grip for the 66, and any help would be appreciated!

Ohio knows rock n' roll and football. I play bass in two bands. I had a year of college football but was bitten by the injury bug.

Good to know! I didn't want to violate any forum rules on my first day. I'll wait until tomorrow for that :)

As for the Tyler, hard to find and spendy when you do. We have a member here who makes them out of bowling ball like material in black and a kind of cream color. Google BK grips and you'll find him. Better prices and delivery times, by far. If you're stuck on metal, Robertson's Trading Post has some in aluminum, I think. Again, available and affordable. I have both and am very happy with both.

I sent a message. Saw one forva square butt, my 66 has a round butt. Curious if it would fit or not.

Former Oregon resident and LEO, now in free Idaho. Oregon became too stupid to live in. Gun laws here in Idaho are much better. There's still room here- you'll like it better.

Welcome to the Forum from South of Houston!

Yes you can find grip adapters at Robertson Trading Post but they are not always in stock, looks like now all they have are aluminum adapters for J frame round butt. I bought a brushed aluminum K frame round butt adapter a year and a half ago from RTP for my 3" M64-3 and it really feels great, I also have an adapter on a M36, there is definitely a reason why they were popular back in the day
