Hi.

The first thing to say is, my apologies for my poor english.

I have recently returned to sport shooting from a ten years forced stop for health issues.

For a few months ago I can shoot with a 22lr carbine again.
Although to return to shoot with short gun I had to do the whole process again for the license.
Here, that is a huge exercise of patience ¡¡¡LOL!!!

The ponit is that I pretend to return to precision and IPSC, and do (as far as I can) Steel Challenge. This is a very little (or hardly any) modality extended here. And I´m one of the few who want to do it with revolver.

That is the reason why I bought a SMITH&WESSON K38 14-4.
With it I can shoot precision and star training IPSC, but..... for a purely commercial matter, buy a some S&W here are extremely expensive. In fact the price of the 986 that I like a lot, here it´s the double that in USA.
International trade things :)

For that reason I intend to use the 14-4 only for precision and find a 14-6 for IPSC.

As my physical conditions prevent me from moving fast, it will be necessary to compensate with greater aim. Or so understand it.

Thanks to the forum for allowing me to be in it, and to all participants and their wonderful teachings.
Thanks for your time and effort. It is worth appreciating

Best regards.

Good evening Mrnurse.
They are very good shotguns and very well worked. Congratulations.

On a sporting level, yes. In small arms it goes by categories in which it is promoted participating in rolls. In the third category you can only have one. The caliber does not matter. In the second category 6 and in the first, ten. Then when you become a Master Shooter you can have more.

For private use, if you do not belong to the armed forces or the police, it is much more complicated. You need to justify a reason for it and they don't easily grant it.

Welcome from Oklahoma! I hope that your health improves and gives you more flexibility in your shooting sports. I don't speak or understand Spanish, although I hear a lot of it. I just speak Okie.
