:mad:So I have to make a trip to Orlando to pick up a new/old truck. I thought greyhound would be the cheapest choice. I check to see if CC is ok with them because I dont know if when I get there they will have metal detectors or what the deal is. They have zero tolerance for ccw. Granted im going to orlando to drive a car home that I know very little about. the previous owner swears by it and I trust him since he's a good friend but you never know when a used car can give out. So im trying to rent a car now because I refuse to ride in a bus with a bunch of shady people(according to the internet) and drive back at night in a car I know little about. anyone know of a good rental car company that will do pick up in one place and drop off at another?:D

I think that most major car rental companies all have one way rentals, what is what you are talking about.........rent and pick up in city A and drive and drop off in ciity B.

yes, one way pick up drop off. Id rather drive myself and carry my ccw. more control of my safety.

Renting a car is ideal other than the cost. A one way rental can get pricey.

I use Enterprise when I have to rent. They bring the car to me and I can drop it off anywhere they have an office.

really? great I will pass by their office tomorrow and see if i can get one of their cars. Thank you gentlemen!

sometimes car rental companies will let adriver have a car to return to a different location and either pay you or let you have it for free....this happens a lot this time of year when cars need to get to Florida for the big snow bird push or in the early summer when they need to be returned to locations outside of florida....you can contact them and see if any cars need to be returned to where you are going and ask...most they will say is NO

........or rent a small car on a round trip contract, get your truck and rent a car hauler trailer one way from U-Haul and tow the rental car home. Might be a bit cheaper than a one way car rental.
