They are French Walnut and finished in Tru-oil, it's a fairly trim set of stocks with less than a 1/4 inch of wood below the butt, the shelf for the middle finger is extra wide and works well for harsh loads. The second set are the "coke" style grips on the model 27. They are made from Goncalo Alves and also finished in Tru-oil. Made to factory dimensions featuring the larger field of checkering, palm swell and football type speed loader cut, medallions and new stainless screw and nickle silver escutcheons.
