I am a tattoo artist and I cant seem to leave stuff alone!
anyways...I have done some searching and i find it very hard to find any kind of "custom" back straps whether it be factory or hand made type stuff.
so between my urge to do graffiti on anything I figured hey why not see if anyone would be willing to help me out.
what i am offering is, if anyone has a extra backstrap laying around or knows they will never use their small one etc. and is willing to take a small gamble with it....send it to me- lets talk image/idea and texture..and i will do it for FREE. all i ask is that you send however much it would cost to ship it back with the grip so when its done i can send it back and doesnt cost me anything. couple bucks out of your pocket for a custom grip cant be so bad right?
the idea i have is to do some custom stippling in the grip be it around the image or part of it depending on what you may want or what will work better.
i did a real quick photoshop image just to give you the idea of what i wanna do. now it will look different that the example i posted here. just because its an computer made image and not actual product.....the example is to just give you a starting point. the best images would be very clip art type stuff such as the hornet logo i stuck up in the corner.
i am not sure how elaborate i can get just yet....but between the airbrush and all my paints and markers i think i can come up with some descent stuff. whether it will hold up long term in and out of a holster or used a lot...I am not sure which is why I am offering up the service for free!! i will add a satin or gloss clear coat to it, depending on what you want.
so would anyone be interested? or am i the only one who really cares at all.
i know i could just go out get some grips and try...but i figured if i am going to do something like this, why not reward someone else for giving me that chance.
