Found this K-200 at the gun show today, SN 697XXX. Its had a badly done home rebarrel job with some vise marks left in the topstrap and bottom of the cylinder window on the right side. The frame seems intact and not bent up. A few marks around the barrel shroud and the blue and the wear on the barrel don't match the frame and the barrel pin is missing. The good news is the action works well, the timing is good, the numbers on the grips and cylinder match and what I find most interesting is that it doesn't have any export or import markings on it so I'm assuming its a commercial model. The cylinder is stepped for the .38 S&W caliber cartridge and it has a factory lanyard loop. Was this an option on the commercial model? I will have to letter this one to find out more. Nice for a 100 buck gun.

It was good to meet you Chef. I enjoyed talking with you. Good find on the 38/200.
I didn't get back over to the show Sunday.
Let me know when the next show is scheduled in Huntsville. I will try to get back over there.
Butch

Hey Butch,
Likewise was a pleasure meeting you. I'll keep in touch about the shows. I'll check my email link but several people have used it in the last couple of days. Maybe a spam filter kicking it back. Take care and will give you a shout soon. ~Chris

Hey Digi, Thanks!
I don't see any markings at all. Plain smooth backstrap. I've looked it over under a magnifier and don't find any markings at all. Serrated trigger, fine checked hammer, 5 screw. ~Chef
