Still no letup in the "enthusiasm." Got there right at opening, line was short. A buddy showed up a half hour later and the line was 10X. Inside was non-stop buying. The larger dealers had a butt in every chair for 4473's. Khalid has a dozen chairs, full all day. I'm not going to talk about his prices compared to others. "Black" rifles were reasonable, NIB Bushie M4 $1099, S&W the same. I had sold a Glock I took in a trade (I wanted a M30 for a long time, owned it for less than a day, just not my cup of tea) plus I had plastic, but I resisted the urge thinking prices will get better. Not a whole lot of S&W revolvers to be had. Some 27's and 29's, nothing special but priced like they were. Ammo was just nuts. $25 for WWB 55gr .223. $40 for S&B .357 mag. Cases (500) rd of .45acp 230 ball, $300+ tax. Lots of non-gun tables with lots of useful junk. Too many "bug zapper" salesman. When the crackle one 3 feet from my head, I want to shove it up the guy's ares and see if his eyeballs light up. Ran into Dick aka Diamonback68, had a nice chat. The 586 he brought was gone so I didn't get a chance to give him my money. I left at almost 3, the show closes at 4 and there was still a line to get in. Good to see so much money moving around freely. For better or worse, that show pumped up everyone's portfolio. Joe
