Guns Dot Com

I have purchased more than a few from them . Never had a problem and they were very easy to work with , I would give them 2 thumbs up . As a matter of fact just bought one last night , eagerly awaiting another PC gun for the collection .

I just bought a cheap ($300) Colt revolver, born in 1957. The pictures made it look okay, but when I got it, the stocks were toast, the ejector rod was frozen/rusted up and had to get Kroil and a plastic mallet to free it up. The internals worked fine and tight, though, so I kept it. The bore cleaned up very nice, and I cleaned a couple spider webs out of the cylinder chambers. All bright & shiny. I probably should've returned it before laying a finger on it, but it's the only birth year gun I own now! I wrapped some high voltage electrical tape around the stocks and called it good. None of this was mentioned in the description. Unless a gun is new, I have no reason to ever buy from them again. (The darned stocks were held on by a rivet and a rusted up screw!)

I bought a certified gun from them. It is like new with box and paperwork, and free shipping.
I give guns a good review.

I have bought "from" them. The potential snag is that they are a kind of site "aggregator" meaning the guns come from various gun shops around the country. I don't think the guns dot com has any inventory whatsoever. That said, my experience has been positive. I don't know what would happen with an uncertified used gun. I figure that depends on the specific shop that gun is being sourced from. Not unlike the big auction site.

My research into this company uncovered the fact that they
don't have physical possession of " uncertified" guns on their
web site. Therefore, no returns. They only take credit cards
on these uncertified guns. I guess if there is a problem the
purchase can be disputed with credit card company.

100% correct. Their business address is Burnsville MN, (PO Box 1131 13800 Nicollet Blvd Burnsville, MN 55337) the same town my son used to live in. I was interested in a gun they had listed and called them to see if they had shop hours. I was informed they were an on line business only.

I entertained selling a high end double barrel shotgun gun to them. I sent numerous high resolution pictures and very definitively answered all of their questions. Their response at the end: send us the gun and we'll see if you qualify for our offer to buy price! I pointed out that that was not how things worked in this business. No money, no gunney. My impression was not positive.

I made my first purchase last month when another member directed me there after seeing my wtb ad for a 686 snub. It was a 686-4 and arrived quickly and in great condition requiring very little clean up. A smooth transaction, I will definitely check them out next time I'm looking for something.

They took a "return" from me for a defective revolver that was a LEO trade-in. They were really good about it and didn't ask very many questions. I'd rate their customer service as pretty darn good.
