You might call Gary at Victoria All Sports, if Victoria isn't too far away. I don't have his number, but they have it on website.IIRC

I am thinking of barrel change out on a 586.
Don't know if Jacobson's doing that kind of work anymore; on his site he says if it takes refinishing or mill work he's not doing it.

You might to give him a call and see. Were I within a reasonable drive of Teddy Jacobson, I'd jump at getting to head over with one of my revolvers. (I'd jump carefully, though, he's allegedly a bit...eccentric. But reviews of his work are stellar.)

Teddy has done action jobs on 9 of my guns, if that tells you anything. ;)

He is a little different and I guess I must be too because we get along just fine.

He's called me just to talk......and I've done the same his way.

Then you'll vouch for me if I send one of mine? ;)

"Gary Keith Dean, a gunsmith for 40 years formerly at his own shop in Lumberton, has been with Gander Mountain since the store opened."
This is a quote from the Beaumont Enterprize. I had work done by Gary Dean 30 years ago when I was a cop in Beaumont. He did several jobs for me. His work is excellent.
