I've owned this for a while, it came with the USRA holster [belt with .22 loops not shown]. The pistol is one of the finest guns ever made, they were hand made, as well as so many options it is said an individual pistol will have no more than 5-6 others exactly like it. Walter Roper was hired away from S &W to oversee production & assembly as well as design changes to improve them as time went on, after he came aboard, all sport Roper grips as well as the pistol will be marked with an "S" stamp. Mine has all the latest refinements as it was made toward the end of the production run. It is estimated roper spent $150.00 each to make, & even towards end of run sold for less than $40.00 each, just to gain bragging right over the other manufacturers. It should be noted they also had "Olympic" chambers that seated the bullet in rifling when the action was closed.

I like that pistol. Thanks for showing it.

Here are a couple more.
The blue book is a good reference for the H&R line.
The slim book on the right side of the cased pistol is a copy of Walter Roper's book "Experiments of a Handgunner".

The cased set came with a cleaning rod and a front sight hood as well.
