I realize this is a risky question but does anyone have any data for anything 75-100gr bullet using H335? This is a bolt rifle. Thanks.

If there are H335 loads for bullet weights you mention, velocities would be low.

H335 is not my go to powder but in my 6mm ARC using a 100 gn Hornady Interlock SPBT or a Speer SPBT I use 27.4 gn of H335, Velocity is in the low 2800 FPS range. You did not mention what cartridge you are running, just .243 which tells me nothing. My go to is Leverevolution or CFE223, The Lever is an excellent powder for the 6 ARC.

That powder works with .22 caliber loads but is not listed after the .223 Remington............
and where the bullets start at 75 grs in the .243.

Too fast a powder for safe pressures.

3031 is the slowest powder in my manuals, for safe loads.

I run h335 behind a 62gr pill ill have to look back and edit this post... got some amazing numbers out of a 12in barrel, burns super clean and consistent over the chronograph... I exclusively use h335 for .223/5.56

From my friend: "I'm loading 85 to 100 gr Sierra, Speer and Nosler bullets in Starline and Winchester .243 brass.".
Does this help? The only load data for this gr. range is found in an older Sierra bullet reference.

I just looked at a five cartridge case volume comparison sent by my friend and it shows little to no difference between the Starline, Win., Rem., and another that I've forgotten.

I shoot a 6mm Mongoose, sort of a 6mm-223 that has been PO Ackley'd. H335 works well in it, but being built on a .223 case, the powder capacity is lower than your (presumed) .243 Win. I'm getting 3000 fps with Speer 70-grain HPs with powder space left and no pressure signs. I agree that a slower powder is called for your higher case capacity and heavier bullets.

Thank you. I'll send this information over. I believe my friend wants to use up a large supply of H335 on anything he can load instead of fertilizing the lawn.

In a 26" barrel........ H335 will push a..........
75 gr. 3014~3225 fps and a
100 gr. at 2666~2914 fps
in the .243 case.

Hodgdon had loading data years back.
You might find some on line or have to give them a call for your data.

Good luck
