I have always had a thing for Raquel Welch ever since I was a teenager, I bought Hannie Caulder yesterday and watched it pretty good movie lots of different guns, S&W, deane& adams and Bulldogs. Earnest Borgnine, Jak Elam and Strothr Martin as the villains, And naturally Raquel I remember why I had my crush :)

I think I recall a publicity photo of her wearing an Adams and little else.

I recall thinking how odd the gun looked in an American Western style holster.

I have fond memories of Raquel in the One Million Years B.C. movie as a cave girl. And as a chick called Fathom.
 
Dispite the iconic picture of her in a pancho and gun belt. The scene that etched into my young boy's brain was the shrinking of the leather pants in the bathtub.

A RW & Western fan, must also checkout 100 rifles. (Also one of the few movies to feature the Beautiful American Krag-Jørgensen rifle.)


JimmyJ - Russel was a little before her time, Anderson way after. If we are talking '60s you have to add a WOW for Ann Margret!
 
Andy Anderson made the holster for her, Jack Elam, and don't know know which others. He made Eastwoods famous rig and one for McQueen in The Magnificent Seven and many TV shows. Robert Culp useds a S&W New Model 3 in a horizontal belly gun crossdraw arrangement, with Adams on his strong side. Very coool!!!! He was a shooter in real life and he carried a NM #3 in a TV western in the 50's. In an interview decades later the interviewer noted he had that gun and holster on his wall of his office. I have no doubt he used it again in Hannie Caulder. Here's a bunch of pics of the movie.

Here you go. Here she is wearing that pancho. On a less intersting note go way down the page ans see closeups of robert Culp and his S&W in the TV show TRackdown. Not as interesting as Roquel welch but it is a gun forum so thought I'd mention it.

Look at that fine Andy Anderson gun rig. And what a cool pistol! Is that a....Hey. I just noticed she's almost nekkid.

AMEN to both! Raquel, Ann, Sophia, Jane...all natural beauties. Pam Anderson looks like a plastic surgeon intern was hung over and totally botched things.
