Happy Easter to all.

The other day Lee told us that Easter wasn't about bunnies, but I think he is getting old or something. That darn rabbit left several baskets at our house for our grandchildren.

My wife, daughter, youngest son, and I went to the sunrise service at the cemetery this morning.
This year we didn't need snowshoes and the wind didn't kick up till mid way through the service.
A couple years ago an eagle stopped the service, briefly, by buzzing the congregations. He didn't show today, must have been sleeping in.

Breakfast was served at church afterward.
It was a good way to start the day.

Let us remember that all things, bunnies included, were created by, through, for, and in Christ (Colossians 1:16) and that He has primacy over all things (Colossians 1-17).

I attended a sunrise service within sight and spittin' distance of Saddam's old Ba'ath party headquarters in one direction and Uday Hussein's house in another. CPT S., the chaplain, rightly said it would likely be a service none of us there would soon forget.

If you missed it this weekend, you can do it next weekend. (Eastern Orthodox)
I went to a sunrise service, then to breakfast at the church (which I helped prepare). Then the regular service, then dinner with friends.
