Happy Father's Day to all of you who are fathers and/or still have your fathers with you. I never had any children and all of my father figures have passed on. But I was lucky to know both grandfathers for a long time, one great granddad and to have my dad around for 63 years. But when I go to shave in the morning it seems like my dad has migrated into my mirror.

Father's Day is still bittersweet for me.
My dad passed away 20 years ago.
This is the second Father's Day since we lost my oldest son.
His little brother had to go to work at around noon today, but he wished me a happy Father's Day before he left the house.
So, it's me, my wife, and my visiting SIL here having a Father's Day meal together.
Like I said, it's bittersweet.
Sorry to be a downer...
