Was lucky to win this Model 41 pistol which included 2 magazines as well as a 5.5" barrel. Serial # 94878. In very good condition for its age.

Nice 41 combo. Although you didn't reveal the price I'm sure you did better than getting a new "PC" 41. Of course your new to you 41 was carefully and meticulously assembled, has real deep bluing, absolutely beautiful grips, (not laminate,) and a loaded chamber indicator and presumably original period magazines. It doesn't have delicate fiber optic sights and or provisions for optics mounting.
One of my heavily modified #11XXXX has paperwork stating 1969 so maybe my other #11XXXX is also. I'm only mentioning this because they are difficult to date if that is important to you.Jim

I do hold a C & R license. Regarding the 2 magazines that came with the pistol, both have the same plate with the punch hole however, the magazine follower on one of them is not, IMO, original. I believe the original was what I call the "figure 8 steel" follower while the other is a metal flat faced follower. Serial # is 94878 and can't recall where I found/heard of "shipping/manufacture?" time frame but thought it was around 1960. Anyone got better information regarding that is welcome to chime in. Thanks
