Harry Anderson has died. He was 65. I thought he was great on Night Court.

Seems like Night Court is seldom mentioned with the best Sit Coms, but what a great show. May he RIP.

We knew the actor as the crazy judge Harry Stone on Night Court, passionate about Mel Torme, dealing with nut cases brought in to his New York courthouse in the wee hours. Funny man. Great supporting cast.

RIP Harry Anderson. Night Court was a funny show. It is hard to believe that it's reruns are not shown on any of the channels that replay the old shows.

I was a teenager when "Night Court" came out, so I was a bit young for that kind of fare. I do remember him best as "Richie Tozier" from the 1990 made for TV movie "Stephen King's IT".

Same here. My friend Frank in Longview, WA-his sister worked for a Judge in Seattle, Wa. Harry had some traffic tickets and came into the court she worked for. She asked for his autograph, he signed the ticket for her (as a joke) later signed something to her. He also joked at the time saying he hoped it would get him out of his tickets, nope-it didnt. The Judge was amused though.

Long time stand up comedian and magician previous to the Night Court stint. He was a hoot. RIP.

Any Mel Torme fan certainly has good taste in music.
Must have been when Markie Post helped Judge Stone win an arm wrestling challenge..
