Has anyone paired the MagPul AFG with a Vertical Grip as well?

Has anyone tried the Magpul AFG grip in conjunction with any sort of vertical grip? I'm considering doing this.

I'd run the vert grip close to the mag well for a tight grip position and the AFG out front for a longer more stable grip position when needed.

What does this setup look like? If you've tried it out, can you post some photos please?

Thanks so much!

Langster- I've run that exact setup and it worked very well for me. My vertical grip was also a bipod which I found very useful for shooting past 100yds. I've recently taken the
3x9 scope off and have been using a red dot and shooting at 50 yds or less at moving targets, so I removed the grippod and am only using the AFG.

That looks completely B.A.- Thanks so much for sharing the photos! I'd say you've got every base covered with the bi-pod dropping out of the grip as well.

Who manufactures that bipod vert grip?

Also- what barrel shroud is that you're running? I absolutely love the design.

I wanna know what shroud that is too..Looks sick!

I prefer the bipod out front, myself.

Not sure of the manufacturer on the grippod. It is a china knock-off that I bought at a gun show for $20. I have one of the early 15-22's with no threaded barrel so I made the shroud out of PVC and shock absorber bushings. It doesn't really add any performance to the rifle but to me the barrel looks naked without it.
