LoJack has commercial systems with internal 4 year batteries. Has anyone used these? Other options? I'm replacing a stolen JD tractor and PJ trailer and I'll be damned if the dirtbags get away with this again.

I had it installed on my lawnmower before it was stolen. I tried to track it but every time I thought I found it, it went back the other way.

I worked for a large construction company that had them on most of their smaller back hoes and skid steers and quickly recovered two that were stolen. One skid steer they tracked to a shack in the N GA woods and took it back themselves and the dumb*** who originally stole it reported it stolen to the police and that is how they found out who the thief was and had him arrested. Now, that was funny.

We have it on our large tractors, trailers, and I have a few of the cars/trucks done too. I'll knock on wood as I type this but I haven't had to find out how the service is yet. We did get a bit shaved off insurance for getting it though!
