That is nothing more then a 14 minute commercial! The OP is spam!

i thought it would be interesting.. markush if you think your life in danger from a robber can you take that person out before he takes you out

He should have taken the camera off the teleprompter and focused it on himself

The least effective use of multimedia presentation - read the screen.

Unless of course, he assumes most of his intended audience can't read

USCCA might be more of interest if their material wasn't mostly low-quality ripoffs and plagarism of other's materials.
When I was being heavily solicited to join, I read through their material and recognized wholesale copies from NRA training material.
I agree the OP is just advertising SPAM for USCAA and the self-important Tim Schmidt: save your money, IMHO.

Irrelevant what I can or cannot do in a given situation. I do know that I would not get away with posting a link on this forum that is purely soliciting business, whether it be for my own or a third parties business.

You gave the impression in your title and OP that there is something to be learned by watching that video...all I learned is that if I give them money I may learn how to "take that person out before he takes you out".

Yes, it seems to me to be a great organization for those with little experience, little confidence and, most of all, a great deal of gullibility. As for myself, I find such histrionics insulting. If the OP isn't a marketing effort, then it must be, sadly, a posting by one who has no training, no experience and no confidence who simply wants "company" in endorsing his own choices.

I also found the OP to be mainly advertising, but it does start with a good premise, and that is that there's lots to consider about our own self defense beyond just carrying a pistol.

I found the book "The Gift of Fear" by Gavin de Becker to be almost profound in how he prepares you to "think" about self defense and not just "do it".
Anyone who fully understands that book will likely never have to actually draw a weapon in self defense.

For everyone, but even more so for women who carry, it should be required reading in any concealed carry course.

Spot on. I was a member for a year or so. I asked for more advanced content but it never came. Maybe they have changed. Maybe not. But I can find the information for free if I look.
