Folks, our nation stands on the verge of defining our future. Our Constitutional Rights are under attack yet again. The coming election will have a major impact on those rights. The current division in the Republican Party threatens our future.
I strongly urge each and every one of you to call, e-mail and write your Senators and Representatives to make your feelings know.
This is how the system is supposed to work. This is your voice. Now is the time to use it.

My congress critters are pro-second amendment, because one wrong vote (or non-vote) on this issue and they will with full certainty have to get real jobs, in Texas, gun control proponents are concentrated in the core of large cities. Yes even urban Houston led by Shiela Jackson.

The Orlando nightclub was certainly a tragedy but was also another "designated Victim Zone". The irony is not lost on me that the vast majority of these mass shootings occur in places where the law abiding cannot be armed. If we are required to be disarmed then there should be effective alternative protection as at court houses. Not that it is a panacea by any means, but there should at least be armed security guards where people gather and are prohibited from defending themselves to deter would be shooters. Is someone bent on suicide going to worry about armed guards? I cannot say for sure, but they seem very keen on picking places to attack where they know nobody will be armed.

The liberals are certainly going to put on a full court press to make all the hay they can out of this tragedy. Do what you lawfully can. God bless all here.

I contacted my representatives though Gun Owners of America. They provide an easy web form for contacting our reps.

I contacted all of them thru NRA/ILA & GOA. I called their offices & spoke to their aides. I'm calling again tomorrow.

Try as we might, I'm afraid logical thought is not going to rule the day. The bad guys have almost total control of the media, & the sheep are far too easily swayed.

Messaged my Senators and talked with my Congressman this morning. I reminded my Congressman that if he had intentions for higher office like the Senate he needed to move toward our side but I doubt that it will happen. For some reason this intelligent person is focused on the tool and not the people. I tried, real hard, but I believe it fell on deaf ears. No I'm sure it fell on deaf ears.

I thought the SC already nixed upholding cases on bans from two States already?
