I'm in need of a drop style hammer for my newly acquired 38/44. The gun came to me with a TH and I'm pretty sure this was not original equipment.
Should I get a letter on this HD before swapping it back to what I believe is original? You guys I'm sure would know if this Target Hammer was a factory option in I'm guessing 49' to 52' sn S753XX.
Also, I'm pretty sure S/W wouldn't have a early style hammer, can one be obtained pretty easy?
