Anyone know if there's anything in the House or Senate versions of this monstrosity that affects gun ownership? Never know what Schumer, Durbin or Pelosi slipped in there.

go read the post in the lounge about GOA doing something for us.

The concern is that the guy writing your policy can decide whether or not you're living a healthy lifestyle and if yours doesn't suit him he can cancel you insurance or regulate it out of existance. In that respect they could control the things you do as a daily activity if "they" don't like those activities. In the abstract just about anything you imagine could be controlled. Gun ownership could be controlled by HHS, CDC or some other agency without specifically targeting guns with legislation because it could be ruled "unhealthy," Guess who makes the rules?

Maybe our hobby will become like tanning beds and be taxed into oblivion. It'll be deemed as a hazardous to your health activity.

As of to the GOA report,Senator Harry Reid of Nevada said that the insurance companies you buy for healthcare could NOT be asked by the agent. So,Reid is from a pro-gun state and has had many of phone calls and emails to justify the bill. reid and who ever voted for this health bill will be out of office or retired. All states should get a petition going to suspend the members of congress from both sides since,THEY ARENT LISTENING TO US. rich625-8

I forgot to also say to my last post is to suspend their pensions so,when they retire. rich625-8
