Hello everyone, just started posting here to find out more about a S&W 629 I just bought. Thanks to members here my hopes about my revolver were confirmed. Finally at the point in my life when I can start buying guns a little more guilt free, ha ha. Been a polymer guy and still carry them exclusively but I appreciate the art of my new revolver and the simplicity and history it represents. No plastic gun will ever do that, even though they are wonderfully functional. Just ordered my CMP M1 for the same reason. Looks like a great bunch of people to learn from around here. I look forward to it. One thing...how does everyone post such nice pictures? I couldn't post anything more than a thumbnail because it exceeds the size limit when I try to upload. What gives?
