Amazed by the size and grasp of this site I decided to search for some advice with regard to history, technology, construction details and experiences with various S&W classics....
Recently I purchased a 686-3 in mint condition...one that hardly ever fired....
Can anyone brief me into what are specifics of "dash 3", what's the general view on that particular edition, given what I read and heard about later series with Hogue grips, MIM assemblies, lock....
I am mostly into target shooting at 15 and 25 m, but would like to expand my experience nevertheless
