Just completed my first AR purchase. Did lots of research online (alot of lurking on this forum as well as others) as well as talking to friends/family familar with the platform. Go figure from all the info I gathered I'd be buying an M&P15. I've owned various handguns from different makers but the best were always S&W's. I am PUMPED! Got myself a M&P15X model, nib, for a pretty decent price considering the current state of things. Already online shopping for some accessories (functional not TACTICOOL). My wife is probably gonna be a little jealous but she'll get over it, lol. Just wanted to say hi and thank all of you for the info I've learned already and much more to come.
