I have been a long time lurker on this forum and appreciate the wealth of info I have seen over the years. I have been on other forums, but this one is the one I find myself going back to the most.
I inherited a 27-2 3.5" when I was in my 20s and in the time since, I have obtained small variety of S&Ws, from a 1950s model 17 no dash, to a brand new 329 PD I purchased for hiking and fishing when visiting my siblings in the western states.
A few years ago, I became involved with .44 caliber reloading and purchased a few 44s including my most recent one, a 24-3 with a 6.5" barrel. The aftermarket Ahrends grips that were on it looked great but I was longing for a more traditional and correct look. I scored a set of new old stock rosewood target grips online from a person in southern Mississippi who I suspect is a member here, too. (they fit perfectly with no gaps or overhang. Thanks!)

I look forward to expanding my .44 special lineup with another 24-3 with a shorter barrel one of these days.
Anyway, I am here and a member now. Thanks for reading!
