Welcome from the Commonwealth! My family is from Ft. Smith, and Tahlequah! Spent many days hunting quail there when they had some along with deer. Spent hours on Tenkiller, and caught scads of fish. Went below the damn for trout, and into the Arkansas for the stripers!
Caught some of the best strings of fish in the ponds on Camp Gruber. Toted a 12’ boat to them with an electric trolling motor and cleaned up…

Good times growing up then! Times are a whole lot simpler, and we were much better off.
