Hello and greetings from Ohio. I have been active in shooting sports most of my life. I never really showed much interest in anything Smith & Wesson did as I tend to focus my attention on military arms and S&W has had very little to do with military arms aside from some second line pistols and a few exotic prototypes. After my fathers death I turned my time to gunsmithing and suddenly became the owner of 3 somewhat nice smith and wesson pistols, a modern M&P 40, a pair of model 10 revolvers and a very heavy Smith and Wesson 916 shotgun that likes to break firing pins.
I was quite sad to see that the 916 and 3000 didn't get their place to shine here on the forums.
