I'm glad to finally join this forum, after lurking a while. I probably should have joined before my S&W revolver collection got up in the double digits, but better late than never.

I'm not from Oklahoma--this is my handle on the other major gun forums, and it's a good enough description of my marksmanship. I'm actually a pretty good shot with my revolvers and most other guns, but I have a 1911 that helps me average out to "OK."

OK, I like a challenge so I'll try posting a pic. I've already cheated a bit by not taking this one myself; I saved it off of GunsAmerica after driving a few miles up Hwy. 101 a couple of weeks ago to make this one mine.

This 28-2 dates to 1966-67, SN S2845xx. It is roll-marked Wash. State Patrol. I wonder if I might have overpaid slightly for it since recent prices seem to have outrun those in my Standard Catalog by a good margin. Wouldn't be the first time!
