Good to be here! Hope to learn a lot about the care/feeding of a 1979 vintage 13-2. (Picture attached)

I have some experience from my Army days with the AR platform, M9 Pistol, etc., but I have not so much experience with wheel guns. Also, I like to collect military surplus, and I am hoping to gain more info on holsters, etc.

Welcome from Upstate SC. I would recommend you start hunting for an S&W Model 1917 in the original 45 ACP and ammo clips. I would suggest a shooter grade. They are a hoot to shoot, very well-made, and were USD in both world wars. An S&W revolver and a John Browning cartridge, what is not to like

Thank you all for the warm welcomes! Finally figured out how to edit profile. Oh, and I'm in Iowa, just across the Missouri River from Omaha.
