Greetings all. I am one of the inmates in this place they say is The Peoples Republic of New Yorkistan, I just call it hell. Either way I am happy to see America a few weeks out of the year when I get a vacation lol.

Welcome from the great State of West Virginia!!! We used to have great firearms freedoms here, but the legislature got to work this year, and made them even better. We still have one of the most accepted concealed carry licenses in the country, good in almost 40 states, and now we have permitless carry, as of the 24th of this month, as long as we are legally able to own a handgun, we can carry it either openly (could always do that), or concealed.

That's what the guys up in Albany ought to be doing for you NYers.

Can someone please tell me if the NRA basic pistol safety class is sufficient for North Carolina permit applications?
