Does anyone know what model these grips go to? At first glance they appear like wood but upon closer inspection they seem to be plastic. They are quite small and don't match up to my J-frame. They seem to have a fair amount of wear and age so I am guessing they go to an older model. Do any of you gents recognize these?

Could be from the I frame also.

That was my thought. I have an I frame 32 hand ejector that came with hard rubber grips. Look just like that. And I replaced them with modern Goodyear :) J frame grips. Did not want to break the hard rubbers. The J frame grips extend below the grip frame of the 32. Obviously the I frame had a shorter grip.

Thank you all. It's about 2.5" long, I wonder if that means it fits the I frame? I have no use for these and will put them up in the marketplace, any idea on approximate value?

That is quite interesting, I had no idea they had plastic grips back then for those old models.

They are not plastic. Plastic is made from petroleum, and I don't believe it had been invented yet. I have heard those called hard rubber, and I've heard them called gutta percha. I thought those were two terms for the same thing but I've been informed that they're not.
