Help identifying wood species of 686 combat stocks

Hello all, recent purchased a 686-4 snubby w/ pretty combat stocks. Could someone please help me identify the wood species and perhaps a rough value on them? They are darn-near flawless. FWIW I’ll almost certainly post these in the classifieds here. They’re beautiful but just don’t fit my hand at all. Might as well let someone else enjoy them, wanna try to price them right. Thanks for the help!

Goncalo Alves. There was a recent post about this style in Pau Ferro, darker and more uniform in color.

My 686-4 came with the same stocks. They don’t fit my hand either. It’s not wearing them anymore. I imagine value is around $200-$225 ?

Agree goncalo where as Baxter6551's appear to be morado (pau ferro). Prices seem to be going down on these but I sold a set this summer for $210 shipped.
