Help me identify these grips

All my Smiths have either Goncalo Alves or Walnut Target Stocks. I don't know how to tell them apart though.

Forgive me, I'm new, only been here for a week.
I'm familiar with Target Stocks and Magna Grips (which I detest) but don't have a clue what "cokes" mean. I've never heard that term used before.

The stocks on the right have a larger checkered area, are more oval than rectangular (edit to add: when mated together, looking from the bottom) and have a slight palm swell when viewed from the back. Supposedly resembling a glass soda bottle but to me it’s a bit of a stretch. N frame only, from about 1956 to ‘66, and expensive now.

The Cokes look very similar from the side, but when viewed from the front or back, they resemble the shape of a Coke bottle with a distinct swell in the middle. Like you, I never cared for magna stocks until recently. If you've only used them on hard-recoiling guns then you wouldn't like them. But, they actually are very nice on guns that don't kick like a mule. And, some people have hands that struggle with the thickness of the target stocks. The biggest drawback, to me, with magnas is that the hand is placed higher-up on the frame which means the trigger is not pulled straight-back. That's the reason for the Tyler attachment. Here is a photo of my 1952-vintage M&P .38. I like the magnas on it much better than target stocks, and they look better too on an older gun like this.

My new to me M-24 came with Magna grips that I switched out after only 10 rounds. I have small hands so that is part of it. I have to agree those grips on your 38 do look like they belong there. Don't think I've ever seen one with target stocks. I bet they would look odd. If you have some could you put them on your gun and take a pic? I'm really curious now.
