My LGS has a Stainless Colt Mustang Plus II .380 for sale. I know it dates back a bit. Maybe carried some, but basically new and the bore is spotless. It is listed for $399.00. Might be able to get a few bucks off.

I like what I've read about it. I wish it had an ambi safety for my left handedness! I think mags are still out there.

Comes with box and book. Please don't comment about the merits of .380 as a defensive carry round!

NOTE THIS IS THE PLUS 2 model!

Thanks in advance!

JUMP ON IT - NOW!!!!

No, not this afternoon, or tomorrow, or next payday, leave your house this instant and git!

What are you waiting for? GO!!!

I can't find one around here for less than $650.

All righty then....based on your resounding recommendations, looks like I scored a new-to-me Colt Mustang! Nice trigger, tight and kinda sexy!:)

Pictures to follow when I release it from from captivity!

Thank you gentlemen for being the enablers I knew you'd be! I can always depend on you guys to help feed my addition!!!!:D

You're welcome glad we could help.

That is easily a $600 to $650 gun, how can you go wrong? :D

IIRC the +2 has the 7 round mag like my Government model and the shorter Mustang/Pony barrel, correct? If so the mags are still readily available.

Should be a great little carry piece and for $400 its a steal.

It is now five hours after your original post. I hope the gun in question is now in your possession!

Great buy on a great little gun!

That's a good price. There is a nice blue one on GB right now, and it's up past that price, with 4 days left in the bidding. There's another guy starting the bidding on a blue one for $650.

Excellent price. You don't often see deals on high condition Colts, but that is definitely a DEAL! Congrats. I wouldn't ask the wife about that one. She'll probably take it.
