o.k i read somewhere i can swap curved factory grips on a 5904 to straight backed factory on the 4006 i think was the model,will they interchange,i want rid of the palm swell,thanks.

thanks anyway,finaly got search to work,seen where someone just sanded the curve down,seems easier then changing out grips then ill stipple or stripple the back.
 
The straight and curved factory grips for the full-size 59XX/40XX models will fit both platforms.

I've often exchanged the curved 59XX grips for the straight 40XX grips for shooters who had smaller hands and needed less arch on the back of the grip.

Replacing the grips does require some attention and care, though, as it's possible to tweak or otherwise damage/bend the side plate under the grip panel on the left side of the frame. Also, unless the grip is fully seated forward under the tang at the rear of the frame, the grip can be left out of place just enough to prevent fully lowering the safety/decocking levers and decocking the gun.
