Hi Folks,
The nephew and I will be in Indy for the week end and were wondering about Z's Oyster bar. Would you recommend it?
What are some worth while places to eat in Indy?
Casual attire. Italian, Chinese, steak/seafood. What is out there that you really like?
Thanks a million!

Indy eateries.........

The best chinese food in Indy in my opinion is Foon Ying at 38th & Shadeland. You'll probably want to get your order to go as the area is not the best in town. Everything that I have tried on the menu is excellent and the portions are more than generous. The egg rolls are a must try, nobody makes better egg rolls than Foon Ying again they are large size about 2X what you get at other chinese places.

Amalfi's at 86th and Ditch was my favorite Italian place in Indy when I lived there... Worth checking out.

Howdy

Howdy,
Thanks guys. Foon Ying sounds good but if I can't get to Carmel with the food before it cools I might have to pass. The Jeep has only a soft top and I'd hate to see someone knife their way into it (there are zippers on every window) but we might try it. Seems like everyone loves the eggrolls. But thanks Marksman,we will try it if we can.
swDC, that Amalfi's has quite the menu. We are blessed here in St. Louis area with the "Hill" but Amalfi's looks like it can hold it's own with most of them on the hill.
Thanks guys.
I need to go and won't get to check this before I leave.
If I can ever help you find something in St. Louis area just ask.
Thanks again
Mike
