Im about to start getting photos of some custom grps im having made or are already made. Got one done already for Sabrinas gun, got another set to pick up hopefulle tomorrow at the gun show I almost missed. Also, having another set made but not expected to be done for a few weeks. What I need is, someone to volunteer to let me get hard copies made of pics ill be taking, then need to send to someone who will post them here for me when I have all three completed. I have no ability to upload images, post them etc.

Any volunteers will be greatly appreciated.

BTW, currently doing things a bit slower due to a bad current case of Gurd.

Carl,

If I understand your request correctly, you're making some digital photos and want to have some prints made. Am I correct?

I had a similar need when I was sending in photos to Smith & Wesson for my historical letters. I made my digital photos and then logged on to my account at the Walgreens website: Digital Photo Printing and Free Online Photo Sharing at Walgreens Photo Center

Then I uploaded the digital files, decided which size color photos that I wanted, and added them to my cart. As I remember, they were less than $ .35/print. They were ready to be picked in an hour or so and Walgreens sent an e-mail to me to notify me that they were ready.

It looks like you have about nine Walgreens along "358" in Corpus Christi.

Does this information solve part of your problem??

I can upload thumbnails here but have never figured out how to upload the nice large size ones that other forum members do.

Ringo, do you have an I phone? If you do, you can upload them using it. I use the app "Kies Air" that allows me to lay my phone near my computer and after accessing Kies Air on the phone and typing the code it gives me on my computer, everything on my phone opens up on my computer. Then I can save the pics or vids to my computer and post them. Afterwards I delete them from my wife's I phone. I don't have an I phone I still use the old flip phone but do know how to use her's. I was going to tell you about Walgreens too, but BSeabrooke already beat me to it. If you don't have a Walgreens close by or no I phone, you can send them to me and I can either take a pic of them with my wife's I phone and send that to you in an e mail or PM, or else I can scan them on our scanner and send them to you. Let me know if you need my help.

I can upload pictures on the forum if you want?

Hi Patrik, you have the job if you want it? Trouble is, is I still have to get copies made. Also, I have two pairs of grips already done, the 3rd is delayed because I had forgot I had the g.I. grips with diamond and checkering-still thinking I had my old ones from a Rock Island arsenal .45 I had. So Henry is going to have to make these from scratch, so will be in May sometime before I can get all these images together. After that, I I'm having another pair made for another .45 I have, and also some made in Augustfor an Italian made Baretta. The first three though, I should have everrtything done hopefully before mid May.

Hi Bill and thank you. The only phone I have is a cheapo from cricket. I can't access internet, just talk and text.

If you mean send the grips, I can't, all are on guns except for the set I'm sending to my friend Ray, for his 70th birthday in June.

I'll send you a pm tomorrow if anything else happens. I'm going to have to rush out in a minute for a drs appt.

Howdy RK,

Your request is not exactly clear. It sounds like you are using a digital camera and are unaware of a way to move the picture files from the camera to your computer/tablet/phone, so that you can post and print them. If this is the case, an SD card reader is what you need to move the files to your device, assuming your camera is SD.
If this is your problem, tell us what type of camera media card you have and what type of computer/tablet/phone you use to connect to the internet.

For example: SD cards and Apple devices:

Or for SD and other devices:

There are also devices for other types of Storage Media beside SD.

Or . . . if the camera you are using has a micro USB of mini USB port (most do) just plug the cable into a USB port on your computer and use Windows Explorer to drag and drop (or cut and paste if you prefer) the files to a folder on your hard drive. Easy peasy. Really, I promise. I do it all the time. Then if you have a color printer you can print them out yourself - buy some photo paper; regular paper makes very poor quality photo prints.

If using a camera with a memory card, just take the card to Walgreens and plug it into their machine and tell it how many prints you want of which pictures. It's not that difficult, either, but I'm sure some one there would help walk you through the process if needed. You can also upload the pictures and order prints from them online.

Howdy howdy howdy (as my chiropracter used to say) I tried a wm yesterday but, their one machine that takes those cards is currently broke. Im at another today but, the nerd behind the counter doesnt know how to do it. Says all I can do is make hard copy of the images.

I coulld ask my sister to do it but, would probably take months for her to find time, and besides, I dont want her knowing how many guns I have. :-)))

I have the ports on my tablet that I guess you can put the images through? but I have no knowledge how to do so. Ill just make prints this time out, and send them to Patrik. Almost forgot to say that Henry--our local gripmaker--is starting on my GI .45 grips this week but not expected to be done till 1st week in May. I think you all will love these. Ive got at least 3 more custom grips to get him to make for me this year.

Ive done the above recently. I had 23 or so pics for a reenactment of sorts that was eld at the Neuces County Courthouse recently. Ill do the same again soon as I get pics of these three grips and hopefully add pics for the 4th set of custom grips in a month or so.

OK RK, if prints is enough for you right now, but when you want to post them on line, your going to need to move digital files.

As TX-Dennis noted above, you may already have cables that came with your camera that would allow it to connect to your tablet.

If/when you feel like trying to copy the files to your tablet, just let us know the make and model of both your camera and tablet, so we know what your working with.
